WHO:             The Kelsey B. Diamantis TS Scholarship Family Foundation, Inc. d/b/a
Dollars 4 Tic Scholars

  • Non-Profit 501c3 organization recently formed to award college scholarships to students who have Tourette Syndrome
  • Formed by mother-daughter duo Diane and Kelsey Diamantis. 23-year old Kelsey has Tourette Syndrome. She is a 4th grade teacher.

WHAT:           D4TS  Crowdfunding Campaign Kick-Off

Event to help kick off national crowdfunding campaign on IndieGogo launched by D4TS to raise awareness and scholarships. Five minute “tic” simulation, speakers, Donation Station with campaign online, raffles, silent auction, dinner.

Upon entry, attendees will be asked to choose a “tic slip.” For five minutes, at the sound of a ringtone, they will be asked to act out the tic that was on the paper they drew. Designed to simulate what it would be like to have an uncontrollable tic, as a person with Tourette’s would have.

SCHEDULE:  6:30-7:15         Arrival, dinner, raffles open

7:10-7:15         Five minute Tic Simulation

7:15-7:35         Speakers

8:00                 Raffles, Silent Auction Close

8:15-8:30         Announce Raffle Winners
